How to Write Effective Prompts

Include these key elements:

  1. Subject
    • What's the main focus? (mascot, logo, text design)
  2. Style
    • What look do you want? (vintage, modern, bold, minimalist)
  3. Colors
    • Specify team colors or color schemes
  4. Text
    • Exact wording and placement (team name, player numbers)
  5. Details
    • Sport-specific elements (baseball bats, soccer balls, volleyballs)
  6. Technical specs

Using Canva (Easiest Method)

  4. Enter your prompt

  6. Select your favorite and click to add it to your canvas
  7. Edit if needed - adjust colors, add text, resize elements
  8. Export

  7. Remove background using remove.bg (free) if needed

Tips for DTF-Ready AI Designs

✅ DO:

  • Request "transparent background" or "isolated on white background"
  • Specify "bold lines" and "high contrast" for better printing
  • Ask for "vector-style" or "clean edges" for crisp transfers
  • Include your exact team colors in the prompt
  • Request "suitable for apparel printing"

❌ DON'T:

  • Use overly complex or photorealistic designs (they don't transfer well)
  • Include tiny details that won't print clearly
  • Forget to specify text placement and spelling
  • Use gradients that are too subtle (they may not show up)
